looking to buy a game....but which one?

I have played SimCity4 (but not the xpack). I have also played the demo for Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile.....

I am looking to buy one of these two games....either the SimCity4 Deluxe edition....or the Children of the Nile game

has anyone played both of these (full versions)? And if so...which one would you recommend??

My main concern with Children of the NIle is replayability.....ie is it in the game? Or, once you play through, is it all just the same thing over and over again. Sim City 4 is kinda like that, but that game is so massive (or so it seems).....

So, any recommendations??
